WARRANTY

 

Gutter Protection Services (GPS), manufacturers of The Smart ScreenTM in accordance with the highest quality control standards; Warrants to the purchaser that Smart ScreenTM will be free of material and manufacturer defects as defined by Gutter Protection Services

 

WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY COVER?

 

GPS warrants to you, the owner of the property at the time of installation, that the product is free from defects in material and workmanship in the course of manufacturing, if installed according to our specifications. The Warranty is limited to the terms, conditions, exclusions, limitations, requirements and legal rights stated in this Warranty.

CONDITIONS

 

Smart ScreenTM must be installed by an authorized Smart ScreenTM Dealer. The Warranty is presented by the Dealer upon completion of installation.

 

HOW LONG DOES THE COVERAGE LAST?

 

This registered 20-year Limited Warranty last for twenty (20) years on the property on which the product was originally applied; so long as you own the property.

 

WHAT DOESN’T THE WARRANTY COVER?

 

This Warranty does not cover:

• Damage of any kind resulting from faulty or Improper installation from anyone other than an authorized Smart ScreenTM dealer.

• Accidental, deliberate, or negligent damage caused by the owner, their agents, invitees, guests, trespassers, or anyone else not associated with a trained and authorized Smart ScreenTM dealer.

• Damage as a result of settlement or shifting of the property, structural shrinkage or distortion on the property.

• Damage as a result of fire

• Damage as a result of lightning, hurricane, tornado, windstorm, earthquake, hail, sleet or other Acts of God.

• Damage as a result of harmful chemicals including compounds and pesticides, fumes, vapours, airborne stain, mold and mildew accumulation.

• Damage as a result of surface deterioration or discoloration due to air pollution, vandalism, misuse or abuse.

• Any cost or expense incurred to clear any blockage or obstruction that is determined to be below grade.

• Damage as a result of impact from foreign objects or warping or distortion due to excessive heat sources (eg. Barbeque) or exposure to excessive reflective heat sources (eg. Skylight, or Window Reflection, Roofing Materials, Pools, Decks< Blacktop, or Concrete Materials).

• Products that have been painted or whose surface had been altered.

• Any consequential, incident or indirect damage arising out of any breach of any

  expressed oral or written Warranty.

OTHER LIMITATIONS

 

• There are no warranties on this product other than as set forth in this Warranty

• We are not liable to you for a breach of any other written or oral expressed

  warranties, such as those, if any, given to you by dealers, contractors, applicators,

  or distributors, of the product.

• WE EXCLUDE AND ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR

  INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THIS EXPRESSED WARRANTY, OR ANY OTHER ORAL, WRITTEN, OR IMPLIED WARRANTY, THAT MAY APPLY TO YOUR PURCHASE, AS IT RELATES TO OUR PRODUCTS. THIS IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

• This Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which may vary from province to province or state to state.

REMEDIES

 

Notification of a claim will result in our investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding the installation of the product on your homes. Misrepresentations of facts, fraud, or other deceit will immediately void this warranty.

Upon Receipt of valid claim, we will undertake, at our discretion, to repair, replace, or refund the material price of the product installed on your home. In no case will the refund exceed the cost of the material as it was installed.

 

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

 

Smart ScreenTM is one of the most simple and cost effective gutter protection systems on the market today and preforms under most instances without the aid of cleaning. Normal debris is lifted away by a gentle breeze. In some instances, sheltered areas, ect; where air cannot lift debris, we recommend that you regularly clear these areas to keep Smart ScreenTM working properly
